Dou Wei (Simplified Chinese: 窦唯; Traditional Chinese: 竇唯), a moody and creative Beijng musician of his generation, he started out as a lead vocalist of the pop-rock band, Black Panther (Hei Bao) and then left to pursue his own musical direction. From Bauhaus-derived, heavy Cure-influenced debut album, “Dark Dreams”, with the more ambient, electronic flavored follow-ups, “Sunny Days”, "Mountain River", he seamlessly blends the Chinese rock music
